A clinician who believes every person is unique. Your care should be too — because there is no one-size-fits-all approach to real health.
My journey to functional medicine was never a straight line — it was built one degree, one patient, and one conviction at a time.
It started with nutrition. I earned my BS in Nutrition with a Chemistry minor from Texas State University, graduating with honors — giving me a root-cause foundation before I ever entered a clinical setting. I went on to earn both my BSN and MSN at Georgetown University, where I was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the international nursing honor society.
I began my nursing career in 2012 in hospital cardiology, then became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019, specializing in integrative pain management — helping patients reduce or avoid medications altogether through a collaborative, whole-person approach. I saw people get better when we addressed the why, not just the what.
But my most important lessons came from my own life. I spent years struggling with allergies, gut issues, and food sensitivities that conventional medicine managed but never resolved. Functional medicine helped me understand what was actually driving my symptoms — and how to truly heal.
Then came the experience that cemented everything. My son became seriously ill after a tick-borne infection that went undiagnosed for far too long. His labs looked normal. His symptoms were very real. The answers required going deeper — into his individual biochemistry and layers of information standard workups aren't designed to uncover. We found them. He is healing.
That experience is with me in every patient encounter. When you tell me your labs are normal but you don't feel well — I believe you. When you've seen multiple providers without answers — I hear you. When you're fighting for someone you love — I understand that too.
I see patients in person in Rockville, Maryland and via telehealth across multiple states. I'm so glad you found your way here.
My hope is that through our work together, you'll begin to feel like yourself again.
More energy. More confidence. More joy in the life you're living. You deserve a healthcare partner who listens, supports you, and helps you uncover the path back to lasting wellness.
